Applied Hypnotherapy ~ What it can do for you

First of all, let’s clear some of the myths around hypnotherapy, and hypnosis. You cannot be hypnotized against your will and you have absolute control during hypnosis.  Hypnosis is just a very relaxed state - very much like the state you are in just before you fall asleep.  However, as with any process - for the outcome to be successful you have to really want the outcome.

Hypnotherapy can be used to alleviate chronic illnesses i.e. illness where you have had the symptoms for at least six weeks, have seen your medical doctor, and the only prescription is pain killers). 

It can also be used along with many of the NLP processes, to connect direct to the unconscious mind to redirect our mind’s path. Think of a road map, and how our mind automatically takes a certain route every day.  Well, how about if we put a diversion in, or better still blocked off that road, so that our mind had to take a new route each day and that new route ended up in a resourceful as opposed to unresourceful place.

Hypnotherapy can be used to achieve your goals, whether they are associated with health, business, or just wishing to be in a better “mental state”, being more positive, confident and energized.

Hypnotherapy is also traditionally used to help change unwanted behaviors, most commonly:
